The Bubbleboy's Diary (2004)

The Bubbleboy’s Diary (El diario del niño burbuja) is a weblog project by Belén Gache comprising 100 posts to be published during ten consecutive days in 2004. Like an Oulipean work, each post consists of a random image and a brief text telling an imaginary story based on the image.

The genre of this weblog is comparable to facsimile fiction. It is the diary of a bubble boy in which the protagonist not only examines metaphysical theories and ontological geometry. The bubble boy also shares the symbolic world he lives in and his vision of his family, and reflects on the spaces in which he lives: the hyperspace in which he lives inside his own bubble, the space of the fiction he tells and cyberspace.
